Current vacancies as a Community Care Worker in Ammanford

Job Description

Cymryd Rhan is a registered charity and non-profit organisation. Working to provide care and support to citizens throughout Wales.

We have a recruitment opportunities for a Community Support Worker available in and around the Llandeilo and Ammanford localities.

Cymryd Rhan has worked hard to build an extremely good reputation and our services are in high demand. Hence we need to continue to develop our team. So we have current vacancies for professional, like minded community support workers. Above all who are willing and able to deliver and maintain a high standard of care and support.

Your role will be varied and will focus around the citizen, the things they like and don’t like. Also what is important to them and what they would like to achieve. Additionally, you will question how best to support citizens and how your direct and indirect support is adding real impact to their life. Accordingly, you could be supporting citizens with their daily living needs. Of course this could include complex care/medication needs and/or personal care. Alternatively it could be supporting citizens with housing relating issues and emotional support.

Our Community Care Workers mostly work alone with the citizen in their home. Specifically, we support citizens with a variety of different needs. These may include adults with learning disabilities, mental health issues and older people. Stamina to meet both the physical and emotional demands of providing care and support services is essential.

Benefits of working for Cymryd Rhan

£8.40 – £8.67 per hour (pay review pending)

£12.40 – 12.98 per hour for working at short notice

Enhanced pay when working Bank Holidays (double pay)

Mileage allowance of 45p per mile

Full and part time contracts available, we do not offer zero hour contracts

Travel time between calls paid at your full hourly rate (including to and from first and last calls)

Full on-going, paid training and development

Paid Enhanced DBS checks

Job Description

Cymryd Rhan is a Charity whose  purpose is to support people to do the things they want to do, working with them to find out what they need and how we can support them to achieve this. We have an exciting opportunity to be part of our continuing success.
Team Leader – Conwy
35 hours a week
£17381.00 – £19,055.40 PA  (based on 35 hours a week)
The successful applicant will join our Management Team to provide leadership and direction to our Support Team in the Conwy area and to grow our business model in the Conwy area working in partnership with the Senior Management Team.

A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social care is essential for this position, candidates who are currently studying this qualification and are near completion will be considered.  Experience and qualification in Leadership and Management is desirable for this position. Cymryd Rhan is committed to the Personal Development of its employees and is developing a  Management Training Plan to ensure that Managers have the skills and knowledge they need for today and the future.
