We are a Voluntary Organisation and Registered Charity. In particular we provide support to people who need help to live the lives they want, in their own homes. Cymryd Rhan uses a person centred model of support focussed on maintaining independence to avoid/delay the need for community care services. In fact by supporting in this way we reduce the risk of homelessness, social isolation and open up opportunities. As a result, this enables citizens to live their life in the way they choose.

What We Do – Our Services

We support citizens with daily living support, complex care, and personal care or supporting citizens with housing relating issues and emotional support which aims to prevent homelessness and social isolation. Also, we support individuals in their own homes. Including those who have a learning disability, a physical disability, and older people. Moreover, we support people in many different ways to live in their own homes and help them to live the life they want. While some people need support all the time, some people need support for a few hours each week.

We work and have offices across Mid, South West and North Wales; our head office is Llandrindod Wells, Powys.

No experience of working in this type of role?

Don’t be put off. If you have the desire and aptitude for helping people change their lives and supporting them to live independently, we will provide you with accredited work based training in Health and Social Care (level 3). Furthermore, we will provide all mandatory training with support from your line manager.
