Staff Member Update

I wanted to take this opportunity to update you over the exciting changes happening with the Child Care Business Support Team and the Training department in Cymryd Rhan.

We have recently identified a number of new posts which you would have seen advertised internally and I would like to confirm the following people have now been appointed to these posts.

Alison Ellis has been appointed as the lead assessor and IQA heading up our growing QCF services in Health and Social Care and Child Care Learning Development. Alison will be directly line managing a team of assessors and will be based at Wellfield House. I am sure we would like to wish her every success in her new role.

Jenna Hughes has been appointed as the new Child Care Business Support Coordinator. Jenna has worked within the Child Care Business Support team and has a wealth of experience along with some exciting ideas in how we may deliver this service in future. Jenna will be line managing a small team of which this role has been advertised internally. Jenna will also be based at Wellfield House and we wish her every success in delivering this interesting and exciting piece of work within child care.

India Morgan has been appointed as Projects Co-ordinator and her role is to oversee the day to day running of the CBS and training department including its operational delivery and its strategic relevance. India will be taking over more of the role currently being delivered by Lynne Jones who will be moving her focus around the overall business development of Cymryd Rhan. India will also be based in Wellfield House and I am sure we would like to wish her every success in this exciting role.

I am very excited to learn about the development of these new posts and the speed in which the training department is growing. We have adjusted the charitable objectives to include services such as training and development as this is such a positive way to help support the whole organisation at a time when care services and funding are being placed under such pressure. The enjoyment I get from my observations is that the training team as a whole is about how to best support individuals to learn at a pace that suits them and that they receive the support needed to achieve their aspirations. So this team and their approach fit very nicely in to the values and philosophy that Cymryd Rhan strives to promote and maintain.
So welcome all of you in to your new roles, and we look forward to working with you.
